TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
